Jehovah’s Witnesses agree on essential teachings about the nature of God and humankind’s hope for the future. Jehovah’s Witnesses have near-unanimous agreement (98–100%) on core doctrinal teachings, such as those related to suffering, political neutrality, resurrection, and God’s Kingdom. These include the following beliefs:
- Mankind is living in the “last days.”
- God will resurrect both righteous and unrighteous people.
- Christians are not to be involved in political affairs.
- God’s Kingdom government will end all human problems on earth.

A total of 99.6% agree that God used his holy spirit to direct men to write the Bible, and 99.7% agree that humanity is living in the last days. Concerning those who have died, 99.6% of respondents agree that God will resurrect both righteous and unrighteous people, and 98.6% agree that the dead do not suffer and cannot harm the living. The belief that God created Adam and Eve found agreement with 99.4% of respondents. And the last of the 7 items reports that 99.0% agree that Jesus taught his disciples not to be involved in political affairs. The only item with a contrasting pattern is the statement that says, After death, all good people go to heaven and bad people spend eternity in hellfire. For this item, a total of 97.9% either Strongly disagree or Disagree. These findings appear in Section 3 of the report.
